Creating a…","html":"<h1>Configuring telephony</h1>\n<hr>\n<p>To use the bot to call <a href=\"/1.10.3/docs/en/telephony/lists_of_numbers\">a list of clients</a>, the voice broadcast administrator must <a href=\"#Creating-a-connection\">create a connection</a> and <a href=\"/1.10.3/docs/en/telephony/telephone_channel\">set up a channel</a>.</p>\n</br>\n<h3>Creating a connection</h3>\n<p>Login to the JAICP platform. On the toolbar click on <em>SIP server connection</em> > <em>Add new connection</em>.</p>\n<p>Fill in the <em>Main settings</em> fields:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Login</em> — the login for the SIP trunk.</li>\n<li><em>Password</em> — the password for the SIP trunk.</li>\n</ul>\n<p class='warn'>SIP trunk — the telephone line provided over an IP network via SIP (Session Initial Protocol).</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Host / IP</em> — the host or the IP address.</li>\n<li><em>Port</em> — the port number, the default is <code class=\"language-text\">5060</code>.</li>\n<li><em>Allow incoming calls</em> — enable this checkbox if incoming calls will be processed.</li>\n<li><em>Number of available lines</em> — the number of available lines for the SIP trunk.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Fill in the <em>Extended settings</em> fields as necessary:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Registration is required</em> — enable the checkbox if registration is needed. Registration may be necessary for receiving incoming calls from the provider if an SIP trunk with authentication is used.</li>\n<li><em>Check the connection</em> — enable the checkbox if the connection needs checking. The availability of the SIP trunk is checked by sending <code class=\"language-text\">qualify(OPTIONS)</code> at pre-defined time intervals.</li>\n<li><em>Period for checking</em> — the interval between connection checks in seconds. The default is 3600 seconds.</li>\n<li><em>Protocol</em> — select one of the available protocols: UDP or TCP.</li>\n<li><em>Sound codecs</em> — select sound codecs from the list of available options. The order of the selected codecs is taken into account.</li>\n<li><em>Number prefix</em>— the prefix of the phone number to be added before the number being dialed for an outgoing call.</li>\n<li><em>EN Заменять/удалять первую цифру в номере при исходящем вызове</em> — to replace the first digit in the number during an outgoing call, enable this option and specify the replacement digit.</li>\n<li><em>Use direct media when transferring the call</em> — if enabled, the media traffic will be routed directly between the subscribers (via the procedure <code class=\"language-text\">re-invite</code>).</li>\n<li><em>Calls per second</em> — specify the maximum number of calls per second for outgoing broadcasts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p class='warn'><em>cps (сalls per second)</em> — the maximum number of calls per second. The number of calls (<code class=\"language-text\">invite</code> requests) can be limited to prevent SIP trunk overload. To set an appropriate limit consult with your SIP service provider.</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>SIP headers</em> — specify the headers, you will be able to use these in the bot script later. Click on <em>Add header</em> to add another SIP header.</li>\n</ul>\n<p class='warn'><a href=/1.10.3/docs/en/bot_answers/message_types#switch  >More details about using SIP headers when transferring to a phone channel operator</a></p>\n<p>Click <em>Add a connection</em>. The newly created connection will display in the list.
