Connection Navigate to the project > click on…","html":"<h1>Telephone channel</h1>\n<hr>\n<p class='tip'>To create a phone channel in a project you need to have added <a href=/1.10.3/docs/en/telephony/telephony_setup  >at least one connection</a>.</p>\n</br>\n<h3>Connection</h3>\n<p>Navigate to the project > click on <em>Channels</em> in the toolbar. In the <em>Telephony</em> section click on <em>Create channel</em>.</p>\n<p>Fill in the fields:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Name</em> — Specify the channel name.</li>\n<li><em>SIP-trunk connection</em> — select a connection. <a href=\"/1.10.3/docs/en/telephony/telephony_setup\">The connection is created during the telephony setup</a>.</li>\n<li><em>Allow incoming calls</em> — enable this checkbox if you want incoming calls to be received.</li>\n</ul>\n<p class='tip'>You can create multiple outbound channels for a single connection. There can be only one channel that will accept incoming calls per connection.</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Record calls</em> — enable the checkbox if you want to record and store the calls made.</li>\n</ul>\n<p class='warn'>Calls are stored for six months. The log records of calls are stored for a year.</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Branch</em> — specify the project branch which you want to allocate to the channel. The default setting is <code class=\"language-text\">master</code>.</li>\n<li><em>Deploy</em> — select <em>Automatic</em> (whenever any change made to the project is saved) or <em>Manual</em> (using the <em>Publish</em> button in the channel description line).</li>\n</ul>\n<p class='tip'>Please note the <em>Deploy</em> radio button. You have to deploy a script before starting the chatbot. At this stage, the system builds the chatbot, checks script syntax and performs tests.</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Extension</em> — if the <em>Allow incoming calls</em> checkbox is enabled, then specify the number that the client should dial to initiate the bot’s script.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Go to <a href=\"#ASR-and-TTS-by-default\">ASR and TTS</a>, or press <em>Create</em>, in this case the providers for synthesis and recognition will be selected by default.</p>\n</br>\n<h4>ASR and TTS by default</h4>\n<p>The default settings for ASR and TTS depend on the <a href=\"/1.10.3/docs/en/platform_ux/nlu_core_caila/project_setting\">NLU language</a> you selected at the stage of its creation:</p>\n</br>\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Language</th>\n<th>ASR</th>\n<th>TTS</th>\n<th>Parameters</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Russian</td>\n<td>Tinkoff</td>\n<td>Yandex</td>\n<td><a href=\"/1.10.3/docs/en/telephony/recognition_synthesis_settings\">Default settings are used</a></td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>English </br> Chinese </br> Portuguese</td>\n<td>Google</td>\n<td>Google</td>\n<td><a href=\"/1.10.3/docs/en/telephony/recognition_synthesis_settings\">Default settings are used</a></td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n</br>\n<h4>ASR and TTS provider selection</h4>\n<p>Bots that make and receive calls use speech synthesis and recognition:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Text-To-Speech (TTS)</em> or speech synthesis - the process of speech generation from printed text.</li>\n<li><em>Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)</em> or speech recognition - the process of converting speech into text.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>When creating a telephone channel, you can select providers for ASR and TTS. To do this, go to the <em>ASR</em> tab and select the connection, then do the same for <em>TTS</em>.</p>\n<p>Please note that if you choose a specific provider for ASR and TTS, in case of problems, you need to switch the channel yourself to another provider.</p>\n<p>You can also leave the option <em>By default</em>, in this case the settings of the most stable ASR and TTS providers will be automatically applied. In case of problems with providers, the channel will be switched to another provider.</p>\n<p>Press <em>Create</em>.
