Salut is a family of virtual assistants from SberDevices which includes three different characters: Sber, Afina and Joy.

Salut works in Sberbank Online and Sber Salut mobile applications, and in smart devices by SberDevices – SberBox and SberPortal.

SmartMarket

You will need to release your bot in SmartMarket to make it available for devices with Salut.

SmartMarket is an app store. Your application (bot), a SmartApp, will be available on any device where Salut family virtual assistants are used.

How SmartApps work

A user has to activate a SmartApp by saying one of the special phrases configured in SmartApp Studio in order to use that SmartApp. The voice assistant will then switch the user to the conversation with the SmartApp, and all user questions will be re-directed there.

Special phrases are activation names, which are secondary names used to start a SmartApp. A SmartApp's activation name is its name by default. You can all add up to 5 additional names.

SmartApp requirements

Each SmartApp undergoes a review. Your SmartApp will be checked for technical compliance, usefulness of its contents, correct information presentation, etc.
